Founded in 1996, Innovative Media Solutions (IMS) started as a software development and engineering services company, engaging in projects for leading aerospace OEMs, including Boeing and Rockwell Collins. Over time, IMS has emerged as the leader in adapting the latest consumer technologies for the airborne environment, with an emphasis on portable in-flight entertainment, wireless communications and content management. IMS is consistently developing creative alternatives for airlines to provide exciting entertainment and communications options for passengers, while minimizing the cost of doing so.

IMS has been providing portable entertainment solutions to the commercial and business aviation industries since 2005. Since then, the scope of our business has expanded to the general transportation industry, including the car rental and rail markets. Other applications in which we are currently invested are the hospitality markets, including hotels and hospitals.

HISTORY

1996: IMS is founded as a systems and software solutions provider.

1998: Engineering Services begins serving multiple markets, including commercial aerospace, transportation and utilities.

2001: Decision to create products to address aircraft communications and entertainment.

2003: Engineering Services enters into military markets.

2004: Engineering Services core competency in related technologies; embedded, real-time, integrated systems, etc.

2005: Entertainment group launches the Mini PEA (Personal Entertainment Appliance).

2006: Entertainment group launches the Standard PEA (Personal Entertainment Appliance).

2007: Entertainment group modifies COTS-based portable and launches the leading PAV604/700/704 family of portables.

2007: IMS receives the honor of Crystal Cabin Award Finalist in the Entertainment and Communications category at the Aircraft Interiors Expo.

2007: IMS is named the 24th Fastest-Growing Privately Held Company by the OC Business Journal.

2008: Core competency in common markets; avionics, aircraft, wireless, transportation and entertainment.

2008: IMS is named the 14th Fastest-Growing Privately Held Company by the OC Business Journal.
