JOINT TACTICAL RADIO SYSTEM (JTRS) FOR BOEING INTEGRATED DEFENSE SYSTEMS

Situation

IMS was requested to help Boeing Integrated Defense Systems recover schedule on the highly visible Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) program for the US Military.

Solution

As part of this effort, IMS developed component based (CORBA) software for software defined radios, following the Software Communications Architecture (SCA). IMS performed software development including low level kernel configuration, Linux development, device driver development and application software. IMS also provided requirements analysis, system / software design support, software development, integration testing, formal test procedure development and execution.
